Norman Macrae, The Economist's Unacknowledged Giant, believed wars were the not only the most uneconomic of actions but root caused by some wrong turning made through the abuse of media or in the name of macroeconomics where an erroneous system fix had been made and then spun conflicts which compounded until peoples warred.
